The Healthy Thinking Study

A new online self-help program has been developed to help people manage suicidal thoughts and the Black Dog Institute is currently preparing a clinical trial into its effectiveness. This trial will compare this new program to a different program to determine whether it can help reduce suicidal thoughts.

For the Healthy Thinking trial, we are recruiting adults between 18 and 64 who are experiencing suicidal thoughts and want to do a six week program and complete several questionnaires. This trial is set to start in October, but you can register your interest to participate now. You’ll then receive an email from us in October with further information about how to enrol, after which you can decide whether you want to participate.
